I’ll be quick on this first part. I do not use LLMs/genAI. I am 100% a Luddite in that I think this tech as it stands is irresponsibly and dangerously produced, enriches the worst people in the world, is built on stolen work (including 49 of my own works), degrades and damages critical thinking skills and your brain in general, and is destroying the planet.

So hopefully doesn’t need to be said, but I promise any book or post or email or anything I ever write is written by me. My imperfect human brain doing all the work with all the skills and knowledge I’ve worked my ass off my entire life to acquire.  I will also never work with anyone who uses genAI (that I can reasonably know, let’s be real about how pervasive this shit has become, I’m out here doing my best and even learning coding to try to avoid the slop, but I don’t always have control over what people I work with do, but I will always make sure to get anti-AI clauses into my contracts etc if I can).

If you love genAI, I am not the writer for you.  I am not here to argue about it. I am a hard fucking no on genAI. If you love art and writing from the heart, from one human to another… that’s me and my work. Welcome.

Anyway, I update here infrequently because I’m working on coming back from long Covid, and my energy levels are still very up and down. I am on meds that work fairly well as long as I am careful about what I do, so that is the good news.
