Quickie Preview

Want to see what I’m working on?

Here’s a hint:

Now, I have to get back to it.  (This novel is going out to NY publishers while I finish the two sequels, so it might, if it sells, never make it to e-pub, but I had a cover made because visualizing something done helps me get it done.  Yeah, I’m weird).  Besides, this is awesome and I got almost 2,000 words written while my designer and I talked back and forth about it through the middle of the night.

    Awesome cover.

Keep at it, you’ll get there!

Love the cover! Keep grinding at it. I’ma go work on my novels now. Oh, and SEE YOU IN APRIL! *squee*

Superb cover! Wazza? Bad Manda and Ms. Bellet getting together in April? Is it a Lincoln City trip?

Yeah, Character Voice workshop. The twins will be in the same place for once… the world might END! 🙂

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria! Frak, it would be fun to be there. Unfortunately, I am burning my single Lincoln City visit on the Denise Little workshop.

Your covers rule. I’ve got to say that getting good covers is something that scares me deeply about jumping into e-publishing; I would never want to publish anything without great cover art. Looks really, really nice.

Just… one thing: is that Kristin Cavallari of “The Hills” fame?

Um, I doubt it 🙂 It’s a model off a stock photo site (photo cost about 4 dollars to get rights).

Covers are important. But they are also fairly easy to get decent ones, especially if you allow for it in your budget (I’d budget 30-50 for an ebook cover, to be safe, unless you have friends who can/will do them for you for less or free).
